Google Engineers Share Access To Search Quality Meeting

In an unprecedented event, Google opened up the doors to their meeting room and allowed the general public access to one of it's Search Quality meetings. These are the meetings where Google decides if they are going to launch any algorithm changes.

All the main characters were in attendance including Matt Cutts, Amit Singhal and Ben Gomes. These meeting are typically held each Thursday where members of Google's search quality team review all the proposed changes and discuss all aspects of each change to ensure it provides the best quality search experience for Google users. They will compare data on the performed of these changes in real-life "sandbox" testing. After a thorough discussion and scrutiny, the changes are either given the go ahead or deferred for further refinement.
